Nicole Laeno is a dancer who’s ultimate goal is to inspire others that anything is possible. She started off dancing when she was 7 years old and cried almost every day for a month until she started to fall in love with it. Now that she has a platform she wants to not only inspire others to not give up but to spread positivity. Faith, family, and friends are a huge factor in everything she has accomplished. When we love and support each other, the possibilities are endless. She believes that surrounding yourself with people that lift you is way cooler than trying to fit in.

Nicole is excited to embark on this journey to South Africa not only to spread her love for dance but to use this time to help others in need. She was drawn to this trip because of the service that she'll be able to do and on top of that, she'll get to experience beauty of South Africa as well.

The best part about all of this is that Nicole is able to share this trip with the people that support her. She loves traveling and creating memories and what better way to do it than spending the week, dancing, exploring, connecting and helping others! She is thrilled about this trip of a lifetime!

Q: HOW DOES MY TRIP MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

A: We coordinate in-person service by partnering with local organizations that make a difference. By promoting the service on social media, the trip has the potential to inspire countless others into service as well. Finally, tourism is a known benefit to the economies of the countries we visit, and the online content from the trip will encourage even more tourism.

Q: WHAT IF I DON'T SEE MY FAVORITE INFLUENCER ON THE LIST?

A: They might not know about us yet! Let them know you are interested, and ask them to contact us.

Q: WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM BUYING A TRIP?

A: For problems with purchasing a trip or completing the application, please send an email to

Q: DOES THE COST OF THE TRIP INCLUDE AIRFARE?

A: No. The cost of the trip includes most meals, hotels, in-country transportation, and fun excursions.

Q: DO I HAVE TO RAISE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO GO ON THE TRIP?

A:No. Our trips are focused primarily on tourism and the benefits received from tourism to the host country.

Q: How old must I be to participate in a trip?

A: You must be 16 years or older to participate in a trip alone or have your legal guardian accompany you on the trip. If you are younger than 18, your legal guardian must sign all documents required to travel with Influence Trips.

Q: HOW WILL THIS TRIP MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Q: IF SOMETHING COMES UP AND I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO GO, MAY I HAVE MY DOWN PAYMENT REFUNDED?

A: Unfortunately, no. The down payment securing your spot on the trip is non-refundable to ensure all accommodation, transport, travel rates are secured before the expedition.

Q: DOES THE COST OF THIS TRIP INCLUDE MY FLIGHT?

A: No. However, if you need help booking a flight, we will gladly assist in booking a flight that works with the schedule. The fee covers accommodation, transportation throughout the expedition, simple family style meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)???, T-shirts, in-country flights, and fun excursions.

Q: DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO APPLY FOR THIS TRIP?

A: No, you do not need a passport to apply. However, we recommend you apply for a passport immediately after you are accepted. You will need it in-hand before we depart, and it may be necessary to secure your flights.

Q: IS THIS A RELIGIOUS TRIP?

A: No, this trip is open to all. There will be diverse beliefs among your fellow volunteers, guides, and residents. There is an option to attend a local Christian church on the first Sunday of the expedition. All we ask is that you maintain a respectful attitude. We also ask you to refrain from drugs, alcohol, and using profane language.

Q: WILL I NEED TO GET VACCINATED IN ORDER TO GO ON THE TRIP?

A: Yes. You will need to get the Typhoid, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Cholera, Yellow Fever, Rabies, and Influenza Vaccinations.

Q: WHAT KIND OF CONVERTER OR TRANSFORMER WILL I NEED IN SOUTH AFRICA?

A: We will provide a converter/transformer guide in your welcome packet once you’ve been accepted to attend the expedition.
