South Africa

South Africa is a country of astounding diversity. From desert skies to lush mountains and sandy beaches, it’s beauty comes in many forms. As one of the continent's best safari destinations, the country is home to lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and more. Join us for an epic journey of beauty, culture, adventure and friendship.

meet your guides...

DAY 1.

Welcome to Johannesburg!

Spend the day serving with Shumbashaba. Take a tour of Diepsloot and see the beauty and rich history of this region. Meet back up with your group for dinner, get  recap of the day, and return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 2.

Lion Sanctuary

Spend the morning with our friends at Shumbashaba and then head out for a tour of a Lion Sanctuary. We’ll stop by the local flea market on our way home and take a private tour of the Cradle of Human Kind in the evening.

DAY 3.

With luck we will see Rhinos, Giraffes, Buffalo, Leopards and maybe even Elephants & Lions. In the evening we will return to the park for dinner. On our way to the site, we will have the chance to see a few of the animals that were too shy to come out during the day.

DAY 4.

Cape Town

After a sunrise Safari, we will jump on another plane and head to Cape Town where we will take a cable car up to a beautiful mountain hike and then spend the afternoon snorkeling with the seals.

DAY 5.

Cape Town

We'll spend the morning visiting Penguin Colony, taking a guided tour into the bush on horse back, and take a Hippo & Croc tour through the waters.

DAY 6.

Cape Town

After a half day of snorkeling, we will stop by the Giraffe House before catching a flight back to Johannesburg.

DAY 7.

Return Home

Say goodbye to your new friends and head home.

Lisa plans to host workshops through the week (optional) to give you a little more behind the scenes of editing, photography and getting comfortable in front of the camera!
